Organized by the Esports Kenya Federation (ESKF), the Capital Series marks the fourth leg of the national circuit following successful stops in Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu late last year. The Nairobi edition is expected to attract top gamers from the capital and neighboring counties, including Kiambu, Kajiado and Machakos.
Competitors will battle it out across four popular titles EA FC, eFootball, FC Mobile and Tekken with more than bragging rights at stake. The top four finishers in each category will secure qualification spots to the national finals scheduled for April 2026, keeping the race for national honors firmly alive.
A total prize pool of Ksh. 50,000 will be up for grabs during the two-day tournament, alongside valuable national ranking points that count toward the overall championship standings.
Organizers say the event is part of a broader push to professionalize esports in Kenya and create clear pathways for gamers to compete at the highest level.
With competitive gaming continuing to gain traction among Kenyan youth, the Capital Series offers a platform for emerging talent to test themselves against the country’s best while showcasing Nairobi’s growing esports culture.
Registration and participation details are available through the Esports Kenya Federation ahead of the weekend showdown.
