Zetech University women’s basketball team head coach
Maurice Obilo aims to finish in position three in the regular league of the
Kenya Basketball Federation Women’s Premier League.
Zetech have two games left, at home and away against
Lady Bucks whom they welcome in Nairobi this Saturday.
“We are working to finish in position three as we play
Lady Bucks home and away then start our playoffs preparations.
“During the few games I have watched them playing, I
can admit that they play some good basketball so we will take them with a lot
of seriousness,” Obilo said.
Zetech, who are third on the standings, will miss the
services of Valary Kemunto and Carole Njeri who are nursing injuries.
Bucks sit bottom of the standings with 10 points
having lost eight and won just one of their nine games this campaign.
Elsewhere, Equity Bank head coach David Maina whose
side is already guaranteed to finish second will be taking on Kisumu Lady Bucks.
