Kayole Starlets coach Adhiambo calls for consistency

Starlets claimed the top spot of the women’s second tier league table following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Barcelona last weekend, and now they sit on the summit on 26 points.

Adhiambo attributed their impressive performance to a strategic approach in player recruitment ahead of the season.

The team brought in experienced players whose impact has been evident throughout their campaign.

“We recruited experienced players who have strengthened the team," said Adhiambo.

Adhiambo has her sights firmly set on the second leg of the league with promotion to the Women’s Premier League their main target.
