Kabras RFC head coach Carlos Kaytwa says they are braced for the double headers against arch rivals KCB in the Enterprise Cup and the Kenya Cup next month.

Kaytwa reckons there is a lot of improvement from their rivals this season but believes they still have what it takes to continue their dominance against them.

“They made very good signings whose impact is being felt at the moment; they are strong as compared to last season and they keep us on the toss, we have to be ready for the serious battle against them which we are preparing for in a very serious manner,” said Carlos

Kabras have dominated both the  Enterprise Cup and the Kenya Cup in the last three seasons, with 2021 final being the last time KCB beat them in the Kenya Cup final 28-25 but Kaytwa feels this season is going to be different with many teams showing a lot of improvement hence the need to take every game like a final.

“Team have really improved this season as you can see from  the table standings, but that is what makes a competition attractive; it is true that we have dominated the last three seasons but that doesn’t mean we relax because everyone is working hard to bring us down ,”stated the head coach.

Both Kabras and KCB are level on 15 points, at the top of the table in the Kenya Cup standings with four games to go.
