It's still early to declare FKF-PL title favourite, says Modo

FILES: Then AFC Lepards coach Antony 'Modo' Kimani during a match against Gor Mahia.
In an interview with Citizen Digital, Kimani said any of the current top four teams can still win the title, but singled out leaders Police FC for their fast adaptation at the top level.
Police lead the standings on 42 points, one ahead of second-placed Tusker FC and three above defending champions Gor Mahia who still have a game at hand.
KCB, who had a bright start only to slow down along the season, are fourth on 36 points and Modo says with 11 games to go, anything can happen.
“The race is still open and anything can happen in the remaining games so it’s up to every team to avoid dropping points. I foresee a great end to the season,” said Modo.
Kimani who has previously been an Assistant Coach at Police FC has praised the team’s management and technical bench for learning the ropes quickly having been promoted to the Premier League three seasons ago.
“They have learned from their mistakes and quickly fixed them and now they have a good technical bench and have signed good players who have made a great impact to the team,” added Kimani.
The youthful tactician was in charge of Police during their continental assignments last season, and says the experience they got during the Confederation Cup has contributed a lot in their great form this season.
“That really helped them gain enough experience that they are applying at the moment because they played against quality teams in Africa,” stated the former Mathare United captain.
Police are currently under the tutelage of Burundian Etienne Ndayiragije.
