Government to uphold zero tolerance for doping, warns Namwamba

Sports CS Ababu Namwamba says the government will uphold its zero tolerance policy to the doping menace heading in to this year’s Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Speaking while flagging away the national sevens team, Shujaa, who left the country yesterday for the Olympics Ababu, said the fight against the menace is heading in the right direction, adding thatzero-tolerance policy to the doping menace heading into they will not allow any distraction to affect the good course.

“Well, we will continue to fight against this menace until we win. We declare Zero tolerance to doping, and we will go to Paris that should be maintained even in future competition, and so far, every stakeholder is playing their part to make sure we win,” said Abab.

Despite Kenya being pooled alongside Argentina, Samoa, and Australia in the competition, Namwamba believes they have what it takes to excel at the summer games.

“I have confidence in team Kenya heading into these games, and we have given every team the support they require ahead of the competition, and I believe they will make Kenyan proud,” stated the CS.
