In a post-match interview, Bandari coach Ken Odhiambo said the win was a huge morale boost after a barren draw away against Kakamega Homeboyz in their last match.
“This was made to happen in Mumias against Kakamega Homeboyz where we had many chances but we didn't utilize them but happy today we had a better game,” he said.
“We didn't give enough fight but my Boyz tried despite the major injuries in the squad but I admit Bandari FC wanted the win more than us,” Odhiambo’s opposite number William Muluyia said.
