Gor confident head coach Pollack will return
Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia are confident head coach Steve Polack will return to the country and resume duties before the year ends.
Pollack left the country yesterday for Britain for a Christmas break and is scheduled to return on 30th December.
There are however fears that with the financial troubles biting hard at the club he may not resume his duties but club assistant general Ronald Ngala has moved to calm nerves.
“Pollack will come back, we talked and he didn’t show any signs of not coming back so we are sure that he will be back after Christmas,” assured Ngala.
The 18-time champions will face Post Rangers on December 26, and Ngala assured that Pollack’s absence will not affect the players’ morale ahead of the game.
“Polack will miss only one game, against Posta Rangers. I don’t think his absence will lower the players’ morale since he informed them that he is going home for a short while and will be back,” added Ngala.
Ngala intimated to Citizen Digital that they are working on retaining the first position by training hard to bag the gong, again.
The reigning champions have played 11 matches and have three matches to go to catch up with the rest of the pack. They however top the log on 28 points same as second placed Tusker but could go nine points clear should they win all the matches
