Former Leopards striker Ambani unhurt after car crash
Former Kenyan international Boniface Ambani was involved in a
car crash early morning on Thursday in Nakuru County but emerged without any
injuries, he has confirmed.
Ambani’s car was one of two vehicles badly damaged after a
Wells Fargo security truck rammed into them in Kijabe. He was travelling alone
during the accident and did not require hospital treatment.
The former AFC Leopards striker Ambani was heading to the Rift
Valley Institute of Science and Technology, where he had an appointment.
“A Wells Fargo lorry hit my rear and in turn I hit the car
just in front of me. To me that was careless driving since the weather was
unfavorable,” Ambani said.
According to Ambani, no casualties but their vehicles are
extensively in a bad state.
The incident was reported at Lari police station, and later
he continued with his journey.
Recently, Ambani pleaded for help after losing his sight but
has since received treatment.
