FKF-PL: Gor, Tusker win to continue title charge

Gor Mahia and Tusker FC continued their cut-throat chase for the FKF Premier League title with wins in their respective mid-week games on Wednesday.

Both sides labored to win with Gor pulling off a 2-1 comeback victory at FC Talanta as Tusker edged KCB FC 1-0 in a tight contest at Ruaraka.

Benson Omalla again proved decisive for Gor with a second half double as the leaders maintained their two-point advantage over Tusker at the summit.

Michael Oduor found the winner for Tusker in the second half to ensure the champions stayed within touching distance of Gor who have 59 points.

Nzoia remained just three adrift Tusker on 54 points following 3-2 comeback success at Posta Rangers.

Bidco United vs AFC Leopards ended in a 1-1 draw with David Orem and Maxwell Otieno trading the goals.

Elsewhere at the Kasarani Annex, Nairobi City Stars held Kakamega Homeboyz in a barren draw while Ulinzi Stars added to Vihiga Bullets’ misery with a 3-1 victory.
