Speaking ahead of the fixture, Queens' head coach Godfrey Mabonga is confident his side will pin down their opponents for maximum points on Sunday at the Bungoma National Polytechnic grounds starting 1pm.
Mabonga, whose team is aiming to break into the league’s top five, believes victory against Trinity Starlets will be a crucial step towards hitting his immediate target of 30 points.
“We are focused on winning this match. The three points will help us reach 30, which is our current goal, and also improve our chances of finishing among the top five teams,” said Mabonga ahead of the encounter.
However, Trinity Starlets are determined to spoil the party. Coach Moses Juma has revealed his side will adopt an aggressive, attacking approach as they aim to secure an important away win.
“Our plan is to attack and score goals. We are coming to fight for victory in this match,” Juma stated.
Mabonga further stated that his girls wasted a lot of opportunities in the first meeting between the two sides, a game that ended up in a 1-1 stalemate.
The tactician said the team has been training well, sealing the loopholes ahead of the Sunday's assignments.
