Bidco United in market for two strikers to salvage season
The Oilers are languishing 17th in the league standings on 15 points, one above bottom-placed Posta Rangers with just three wins under their belt after 17 rounds.
Head coach Anthony Akhulia has blamed his sharp shooters for their dull show in front of the goal, and is fearing they could be relegated.
“We have been playing well but our strikers have been very blunt in front of the goal. We need people who can score for us because if we don’t score goals then it means we won’t come out of the relegation zone.”
The Thika based club sank to an all-time low following last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Kakamega Homeboyz that saw the side register their eighth loss of the season.
“We’re wasteful against Homeboyz. We had moments and clinical chances to score but we failed, we have to step up and work, but we must also find a solution by searching for new strikers,” he added.
Bidco next face Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday at Dandora Stadium.
