Bandari Queens head coach Janet Amunga insists her team's promotion hopes are still alive despite recent setbacks in the Women's National Super League (NSL).

A goalless home draw against Makolanders over the weekend dealt a blow to their campaign, but Amunga remains optimistic. She is confident that Bandari Queens can secure victories in their final two matches and finish in the top two.

"Saturday was a tough day for us. In football, you either win, draw, or lose. Our opponents were strong, but our focus is now on Uweza. I'm confident we'll return to Mombasa with all three points," said Amunga.

Bandari Queens will travel to Nairobi to face Uweza Women FC, who are battling relegation, before concluding the season at home against Gaspo Women FC.

Meanwhile, Mathare United Women FC, currently second, have one remaining fixture against Hildana Queens. They hope Bandari Queens will falter, allowing them to hold onto the final promotion spot.

Bandari Queens sit third with 38 points, trailing leaders Kayole Starlets by six points and Mathare United by two. With Kayole Starlets needing just one positive result from their final two games to seal the top spot, the race for promotion remains wide open.
