With recent performances falling short of expectations, Odhiambo believes his side is ready to secure a much-needed victory and turn their season around. He has called on fans to rally behind the team, emphasizing their support's crucial role in securing positive results.
"At home, it’s all about winning—nothing less. We need our fans to show up in full force. Their energy will be crucial as we look to turn our results around," Odhiambo declared.
Bandari FC has endured a tough spell, currently on a four-match winless streak in the Kenya Premier League (KPL). Their last victory came in February, a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sofapaka at home.
Sitting in 9th place with 33 points, the team is determined to regain form and climb the league table.
In a boost for Bandari, Odhiambo confirmed the availability of key players for the upcoming match. Defender Dennis Ng’ang’a, who was a doubt after sustaining an injury against Gor Mahia, has recovered and is fit for selection.
Additionally, young talents Izzadin Juma and Willy Gitama, both recently involved with the Kenya Under-20 squad, are back and ready to contribute.
"I thank God that I have a full squad to choose from. We were worried about Ng’ang’a after his injury, but he’s fine and ready for tomorrow. Willy and Izzadin have been with the Under-20 squad, but now they’re back with us, and that’s a huge boost," Odhiambo shared.
Meanwhile, Ulinzi Stars come into the match with mixed results, having won just once in their last five outings, alongside two draws and two losses.
