AWCON 2026: Odemba names traveling squad as Starlets bid to upset Tunisia in return leg

Mwanalima Dogo celebrates after scoring as Harambee Starlets hit hosts Morocco 5-0 in a friendly match at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat on Tuesday 4, December 12 2024

Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has named her fnal 23-member travelling squad for the 2026 AWCON qualifier return leg set for Tunis, Tunisia on Wednesday.

The 23 member squad is set to travel this afternoon for the rematch having played to a barren draw in the first leg last Friday.

The travelling team consists of two goalkeepers in Annedy Kundu, and Lilian Awuor.

There is also room for dependable defenders Ruth Ingosi, and Dorcas Shikobe while midfield maestros Corazone Aquino, alongside Cynthia Shilwatso are in the mix and so are attackers Jentrix Shikangwa and Mwanalima Adam.

Should Harambee Starlets advance, they will face the winner between Niger and Gambia—bringing them one step closer to securing a spot in the 2026 WAFCON, which would mark their second appearance in the tournament in a decade.
