Amonde believes KCB can halt Kabras’ Kenya Cup dominance

Kabras RFC assistant coach Andrew Amonde says he is impressed by the way the team is playing so far this reason in the Kenya Cup
Amonde says the players have the hunger to reclaim the title that has eluded them in the last three seasons.
“I am really impressed with the way the team has played so far the competition is tough many teams have really improved but I am sure we will be able to achieve our target ,”said Amonde
The assistant coach added there is healthy competition among players who have also adapted quickly to the new technical bench after long serving Curtus Olago stepped aside and Oliver Mang’eni took over the reigns.
“The players have been quick to adjust to the new tactics. You can see the hunger in the boys and that is why we are in the position that we are in at the moment,” added Amonde.
The former sevens captain, who is also the strength and conditioning coach for the national sevens team Shujaa, also called for patience as the team adopts to the highly competitive IRB seven after being relegated.
“The team is improving and has a great future. We are learning from our mistakes and we are always working to improve in every tournament. We are positive heading to the next three tournaments,” stated the former captain.
