The Kenya Cup will be entering its 8th round this weekend on Saturday with the anticipated blockbuster matchup between Nondescript and KCB at the Nairobi Jockey Club, home of the Nondescripts.

Both sides look forward to clinching the title as the top four races get engrossing, with the Red Lions charging from the 4th position with 28 points and the Bankers from the 2nd position with 38 points.

Nondies had a rough patch in the 2019-2020 season, where they won three matches in eight attempts and occupied eighth position with 16 points, 18 less than KCB at the tail end of the season.

KCB, on the other hand, lost its groove in the 2021-2022 seasons after losing its title to Kabras Sugar despite fighting hard to retain its impeccable title reign.

Both sides have clashed severally in different cup finals, with KCB coming out victorious in most meetups, including the recent 2022 Floodlit tourney that ended with the Lion Bankers bagging their fourth consecutive Floodlit title after thrashing the Red Lions 20-3. Nondescript looks forward to serving sweet revenge on the bankers and taking home 4 points.

In other fixtures, Black Blad will host South Coast Pirates, Kenya Harlequins will face Kabras Sugar, Menengai Oilers will take on Impala, Mwamba will host Strathmore Leos, and Kisumu will travel to battle Nakuru.
