Akhulia bullish Bidco will stop Ulinzi
Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia wants maximum points against Ulinzi Stars in their next Premier League fixture despite the tough opposition he expects from the soldiers.
According to the youthful coach, their last league match against Wazito which ended in a 1-1 draw was an under performance which he wants to improve on.
“We played well against Wazito but we didn’t get the result we wanted. We conceded at the stoppage time following a small mix-up by the defense, and we want to correct that against Ulinzi.
“Our eyes are set on the maximum points and nothing less, my boys are in good spirit and ready to deliver,” he said.
Akhulia has urged his charges to fight to ensure the chase for a top 10 finish remains in their hands, as the league enters the final four rounds.
“We want to finish among the best 10 teams in the league, I have made this clear to my boys. We don’t want to fix ourselves in situation where we may need other teams’ results to go our way so that we attain that target,” said Akhulia.
The tactician further notes he knows where to rattle the Benjamin Nyangweso coached side.
“I have been following their matches closely even before we were promoted into the country’s top league. It’s going to be tough but we are equal to the task.
“We are enjoying a good run, six matches unbeaten now and we want to keep that record intact.”
Bidco is ranked 11th on the FKF-PL log with 39 points after 28 rounds while Ulinzi are 10th with 40 points, 17 points adrift of leaders KCB.
