Wanted: Nakuru preacher who sodomised boy still on the run two years later

Prophet Peter K of the Christ Impact Church in Ruiru.
A preacher whose church was raided by members of the public
two weeks ago amid accusations of sodomy is a wanted man by police in Nakuru.
Prophet Peter K of the Christ Impact Church in Ruiru faces
accusations of sodomy in a case reported to Nakuru police in 2022.
The complainant spoke exclusively to Citizen TV about his
cry for justice and the events that led to the unfortunate incident.
In his mid-thirties, the young man, Dylan (not his real name), is on a recovery journey. He has silently carried a horror story that any man would term as his worst nightmare.
In February 2022,
he claimed to have been sodomized by a prophet.
"Nilikuwa nambeba na tuk-tuk nampeleka vilabu,
alikuwa customer wangu… akaniambia nipeleke washirika wake Wanyororo, akasema
niende hapo,” said Dylan.
Dylan left his home to meet with Prophet Peter K, who he
says had offered him a job as a driver. As it turned out, the client had other
plans in mind.
"Akasema kwa sababu ako na washirika White House,
tuongelee kwa gari kwa sababu niko na driving license na ID… Tukaingia kwa
gari, akanipea pesa ninunue pombe… nikanunua, marafiki wake wawili wakakuja,”
Dylan added.
"Akasema tumekaa ndani, tuingie kwa van. Akasema
gari ipeleke washirika Wanyororo… van haikuwa na viti za nyuma, ni mattress…
Nikafika mahali nikalewa kabisa. Nikalala, sikuskia tena… Kitu iliniamsha ni
uchungu, nikapata anafanya kile kitendo,” Dylan stated.
He reported the matter at the Central Police Station in Nakuru
in May 2022. A medical examination report seen by Citizen TV indicated that a
physical examination of the complainant suggested blunt trauma to the anal
region.
"Police wetu wanadelay na hii maneno. Kutoka 2022
sijapata justice, anafanya wengine vile wanataka… niko na hiyo trauma,” Dylan
noted.
Dylan’s mother on her part said: "Naomba haki
yetu. Hata mimi niliskia juzi na majirani, sikujua mambo hiyo
nikashangaa."
Nakuru East Deputy Sub-County Commander Sheila Kegode
confirmed that the suspect is still at large. She said they are in hot pursuit
of the preacher, with investigations into the incident at an advanced stage. An
arrest order was issued on March 3, 2025.
Our efforts to reach Prophet Peter K for a comment were futile, as he was unreachable on the phone.
