Businessman and Politician Jimmy Wanjigi has hit out at President Ruto over high taxes and the ballooning cost of living

Former SAFINA Party presidential candidate and businessman Jimmy Wanjigi has hit out at President William Ruto over high taxation and the high cost of living, which he claims have affected many Kenyans.

Wanjigi claims that Kenyans have suffered under the leadership of the Kenya Kwanza government due to taxation imposed on Kenyans despite difficult economic times.

He has slammed the President and his administration for failing to listen to Kenyans' cries, threatening to launch a revolution to force the government to lower the cost of living.

Wanjigi claims that they have given President Ruto three months to change his leadership style, and that he will lead Kenyans in calling out the government in the coming days following his meeting with Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking During the burial of the late Lydia Wanjiru Njuguna, mother of former Mwea MP Peter Gitau, at Gathigiriri primary school, Wanjigi said that Kenyans cannot afford three meals a day due to the high cost of living.

He has hinted that he has no bad blood with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua or Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro, saying that he has problems with President Ruto's style of leadership.

According to Wanjigi, the Kenya Kwanza administration has failed to deliver its elections pledges, vowing to continue to fault this government

He claims that Kenyans who are suffering the most are those who supported President Ruto, particularly those in the Mt. Kenya region, which pays a high tax rate due to agriculture and business.
