Wajackoyah to DP Ruto: Don’t try to cleanse yourself, go home with Uhuru
Roots Party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah has now shifted his focus to Deputy President William Ruto’s candidacy in the August polls urging him to retire with his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Wajackoyah was reacting to remarks by former Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi who, in an interview on NTV Thursday morning, said the two both need to be sent packing.
He chided the DP for blaming failures
of the government which he is a part of on the handshake between President
Kenyatta and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.
“President Uhuru and DP Ruto should go home so that we take the country back to 2002. - Beatrice Elachi. I am in agreement with Beatrice, We need to revive our economy this is too much, Ruto trying to cleanse himself by blaming the handshake between Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta wouldn't make him an angel. Kenyans know who is running the government," he wrote.
Prof. Wajackoyah, who believes he has the
ultimate solution to revive the country’s economy, has been facing mixed
reactions over his agenda of legalising marijuana to pay of Kenya’s debts if
elected president.
In the quest to ascend to the country’s highest office, Wajackoyah will be battling the two frontrunners; Odinga and Ruto, as well as Agano party’s David Mwaure Waihiga.
