Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has once again revealed more details
about his life in the United Kingdom where he lived as a refugee.
Speaking in an
interview with a local radio station, Wajackoyah revealed that during his stay
in the UK, he had attempted to run for a parliamentary seat.
The presidential
candidate who is slowly gaining popularity among the Kenyan youths due to his disruptive thoughts and
controversial agenda revealed
that he attempted to run for Tottenham parliamentary but he was struck off the
contender’s list because he did not have a wife.
“I have stood for
elections in the UK. I was told ‘you are not ripe enough to be Tottenham MP
because we have checked in your records and we have established that you have
children with no wife. Tell us how you got these children yet you don’t have a
wife,” Wajackoyah narrated.
According to the
controversial politician, he would not be allowed to run for the elective seat
because it is against the ethics of the people of the UK.
Wajockoyah says he
learnt to take matters dealing with the ethics of a country and its people
seriously after he was denied a chance to run for the seat.
"I told them that I got the kids before getting married. The officials told me they could not allow me to run due to ethics. That's why I have got solidarity to ethics," he said.
The presidential hopeful who is now touted by political pundits as a third force in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s succession politics said that it is such experience that makes him the best person to salvage Kenya from the scrupling economy.
