In a miscellaneous application that led to his detention, the court was informed that he had checked into MP Shah Hospital, Westlands, under the care of his friends, complaining of abdominal pain after allegedly ingesting substances suspected to be narcotic drugs.
"Upon being admitted, he was placed under close observation with two police officers on guard," reads the court documents.
On February 18, the court was told that three pallets were recovered from the suspect’s rectum through an endoscopy procedure. He later emitted one more pallet on the same day.
Today, the police are expected to close the miscellaneous application and formally charge him in connection with possession of the said drugs.
