Ukraine donates wheat to Kenya amid ongoing drought

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has announced that Ukraine
has donated 25,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Kenya.
The DP, in a statement on Tuesday, said the wheat will be
distributed to counties severely affected by the ongoing drought.
“The donation was presented
to my office by the Ukrainian Ambassador to Kenya Andriy Pravednyk who paid a
courtesy call on my office,” wrote Gachagua.
“Ukraine continues to play
a key role in global food security amidst the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict.”
