Former Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju wants the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) to probe Supreme Court judges over misconduct and unethical behaviour.

Tuju appeared before the graft watchdog with "evidence" seeking their intervention on the integrity of the top judges.

Tuju is accusing the judges of recusing themselves in a Ksh.billion1.2 loan dispute between him and the East African Development Bank (EADB).

Tuju who was speaking at the EACC offices on Tuesday also castigated the judges for obtaining a court order barring them from appearing before the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Dissatisfied with the court's pronouncement of the case, Tuju claims he filed a petition against the judges, which cannot be heard because of the court order.

The former law maker also downplayed his push for probe on the judges terming it apolitical.

Tuju penned a letter to Chief Justice Martha Koome on Friday, citing grave concerns regarding the conduct of the five Judges in executing their duties.

Tuju explained that the Supreme Court judges have failed to uphold their solemn duty of upholding the rule of law, ensuring fair trial proceedings, and protecting the Constitution.
