Tribunal clears Justice Mohammed Kullow, says no evidence for gross misconduct charges
The tribunal investigating him has recommended his reinstatement to the Environment and Land Court.
"From the consideration of all evidence tendered and the applicable law, the Tribunal finds that the thirteen allegations have not been established to the required extent," a report from the Tribunal stated.
The judge was being investigated over allegations of incompetence, misconduct and breaching judicial conduct regulations.
"Your excellency having found as above the allegations against the judge ,the tribunal unanimously recommends therefore that justice Mohammed Noor Kullow ,judge of the Environment and Land Court ,ought to be reinstated," reads the letter to the president.
The tribunal to investigate Kullow's conduct was formed in April 2024 and chaired by Justice Patrick Omwenga Kiage.
