The comedienne, who just recently professionally broke up with comedy stalwart Crazy Kennar, Tuesday afternoon shared a short, bite-sized clip of her attempt to reenact the seemingly hilarious State House debacle, which saw Cabinet Secretaries locked out of an event for lateness.
Khisa, who appeared solo in the clip, played a Cabinet Secretary who had just been barred from accessing State House and was now attempting to save face and avert a disaster.
Complete with a dry laugh, an impractically fast 'phone call' and lethargic narrative, Khisa failed to win the masses - or, at the very least, inspire a chuckle out of them.
Kenyans on Twitter, a constituency that will remind you to check yourself, were fast and furious with the replies, dragging Khisa for her attempt at comedy while also asking her to sit back and reevaluate her career choices.
In their thousands, Kenyans sounded off - with the post attracting over 1,000 comments as of Wednesday morning and over 700 incendiary Quote Tweets.
Twitter user @Goat_Matata tweeted, "You must be sick if you find this video funny!"
Another user, @JoeMmg1 said, "Jokes unaleta direct from the hanging line. Dry as hell!"
Another user, @Ghaflabinvuu1 even offered a little piece of advice, telling Khisa, "Please delete this before watu wafike... they're gonna cook you badly!"
Interestingly, Khisa only appeared to have shared the video on Twitter and not on her Instagram page. That, however, did not deter people from reposting it on the platform, failing to win over even the normally-receptive Instagram audience.
While sharing a screenshot of negative comments from Instagram, another user @kerubo_hillary said, "When even people on Instagram don't agree with you, just know you are down bad!"
Despite all the bad rap she received, Khisa still had a couple fans in her corner, rooting for her, even as things took an ugly tumble.
User @ItsMJ254, clearly a fan, wrote, "500 RTs, 700 QT RTs, 3000 likes & counting. She won! Lesson of the day: Haters are good for success..."
Crazy Kennar, on the other hand, has received massive plaudits from critics after emerging from a 'depressing' period, dusting himself off and, singlehandedly, managing to plunge the country into laughter, once again.
