Three KDF soldiers killed, 17 others injured in Nakuru - Eldoret highway accident

Three
Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers were on Thursday killed and 17 others
injured following a road accident at Jogoo area on the Nakuru - Eldoret highway.
According
to a police report seen by Citizen Digital, the KDF vehicle was being driven
from Eldoret towards Nakuru, but the driver lost control upon reaching the twin
bridge area.
The
vehicle is then said to have overturned on the road , with all the 20 KDF
officers who were on board at the time of the accident.
The
injured, among them the driver who is presently unconscious, were all rushed to
the Molo sub-county hospital for treatment.
Bodies
of the deceased are also lying at the same facility’s mortuary awaiting
postmortem.
