Suspect in child pornographic trade arrested in Mombasa

Ramadhan Yahya Hussein was allegedly trading child pornographic material via his Gmail account
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reported on Monday that Ramadhan Yahya Hussein, 26, was arrested in Mombasa's Majengo area by officers acting on a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)
"Hussein has been distributing child pornographic materials via his Gmail account and trading in Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM)," read the report in part.
Upon his arrest, DCI said Hussein led detectives to his house in Likoni Maweni village where two mobile phones, a memory card, and various identification documents were found.
The confiscated items are undergoing forensic analysis to unearth more details.
Meanwhile, Hussein will remain in police custody awaiting further police action.
