State House holds meeting with Media Editors on Kenya Kwanza Agenda

State House on Tuesday held a meeting with media editors to unpack the government's agenda.

State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said the meeting was the first in a series of engagements the State seeks to have with other stakeholders as well.

He said the event was aimed at ensuring the Fourth Estate had a glimpse of President William Ruto’s plans for the nation and his commitment to fulfilling them.

“The meeting we held was with the selective media fraternity. We were just engaging them in an informal discussion giving them an overview of the vision, priorities and sector interventions that the president and the government are undertaking to ensure the transformation of our country through the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda,” he said.

Mohamed noted that the Kenya Kwanza regime is keen on engaging citizens with the ultimate goal of ensuring the promises made to Kenyans are fulfilled and the government is held accountable.

“As I observed and told them, there is a clear correlation between the actions that have been undertaken by the president and the administration with the objectives that were outlined in the Manifesto,” he noted.

“I think it is an exciting time to be in a country where in a long time we have a president who is actually  committed to following through what he promised in his manifesto.”
