Sports CS Namwamba's ex-wife Priscah Mwaroh laid to rest in Busia

Thousands of mourners on Saturday attended the burial of Priscah Nabirangu Mwaroh at the home of her ex-husband, Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, in Magoye Beach, Busia County.

CS Namwamba, in a family tribute, described the late Priscah as “forever a beautiful soul, a special being, a physical angel, smiling on us from heaven with that incredibly charming smile you lit our lives with.”

Priscah met CS Namwamba in 2003 and together they were blessed with three children; Tanya- Helena in 2008, Che-Ababu Jnr ( 2010) and Terrah Ababu Jnr (2016).

In a condolence message on behalf of Kengen Acting Managing Director Abraham Serem, James Obondo desribed the late Priscah - who worked with the State corporation for 12 years, rising to the position of Senior Administration Assistant - as disciplined and a team player.

Health CS Susan Wafula Nakhumicha, in her speech, said the unity of families is under attack, echoing the Bishop's sentiments that revenge is retrogressive.

She later delivered President William Ruto's condolence message to the Sports and Culture CS over the loss of his ex-wife.
