Speaker Muturi: I will finish the presidential race on a DP ticket

This comes as speculation grows that Muturi will drop out of the race for State House in favor of either Deputy President William Ruto or ODM leader Raila Odinga, who are seen as the frontrunners.

Muturi, on the other hand, has assured his supporters that he will run on a Democratic Party ticket for the position.

“When you will go to the ballot, you will find the name Justin Muturi, or JB Muturi but they are one and the same,” Muturi said during a church service at St. Paul’s ACK church in Sagana on Sunday.

Muturi went on to say that his presidential campaign is based on strong honesty values, which he claims will unite the country and improve its economy.

“I am one of the people in the presidential race and my bid one that is based on verifiable issues of integrity, both by the leadership and the followers and order both of which combine to give prosperity to our country that we all desire and deserve,” he added.

While urging area residents to join his party, Muturi also advised them to vote wisely and elect leaders who will improve their lives rather than those whose names and political affiliations are familiar to them.

Muturi has recently stated that he will tour the Mt. Kenya region in a bid to drum up support for the Democratic party.
