South African President Ramaphosa arrives in Kenya ahead of talks with Ruto
Ramaphosa arrived at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi
on Tuesday evening and was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred
Mutua and his Mining counterpart Salim Mvurya.
The South African leader is expected to meet with President
William Ruto on Wednesday at State House Nairobi where they will hold talks aimed at strengthening
bilateral relations between the two states.
Ramaphosa is visiting on invitation of President Ruto and key
among the areas of discussion will be the issue of stringent South African Visa policy
towards Kenyans.
He will thereafter attend a conference on
trade and investment between Kenya and South Africa at the Kenyatta
International Convention Centre.
