Kisumu County Governor Prof Anyang Nyong’o in a statement has condemned the incident terming it as unfortunate in the wake of the expected visit by the President to the region.
"I hope that we should find a lasting solution because it's very unfortunate that on the eve of the president's visits someone initiated the clashes at the border,” Nyong’o said.
The governor added that the national government must move with speed and swiftly apprehend the criminals behind last night's attack to ensure justice is done for the affected families.
