A second suspect has been arrested in a probe into the killing of two people in a tussle over the control of proceeds from five toilets at Kibuye market in Kisumu County.

Samuel Otieno Odak, 21, was arrested at his hideout at Awach River within Seme following a tip-off from members of the public.

Odak’s arrest comes following the October 8 arrest of Oliver Ochieng Jaoko, also known as Olivert, for allegedly hacking to death Evans Opiyo and Mohammed Saleh on July 1, 2024.

Jaoko was nabbed in the Manyatta area following a tip-off from members of the public after a manhunt had been launched.
