Safaricom's Sambaza Furaha caravan brings festive cheer to Kisii
The final leg of the Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom
caravan this week, kicked off in Kisii town, with the grand opening of a
brand-new Safaricom shop.
In partnership with Royal Media Services,
the caravan is traversing areas of South Western Nyanza, spreading the happiness
and Christmas cheer in key areas such as Keumbu, Keroka, Suneka, and beyond.
Lucille Aveva, Director
of Customer Obsession at Safaricom, expressed her excitement about the event,
highlighting the warm reception from the community.
"We started the morning in Kisii
and now we are in Keroka and we are bringing services to our customers. It's
been nothing short of extraordinary, we've had a fantastic time here. The
crowds are beyond our imagination and expectation," she said.
Safaricom launched the nationwide caravan to celebrate
24 years since it began operations in Kenya, giving Kenyans a chance to win
exciting prizes and celebrate Christmas with the telco under the theme 'Sambaza
Furaha hii Krisi.'
The caravan was officially launched at Ndumberi
Primary School in Kiambu County on Saturday, November 9, subsequently visiting
regions across the country, with exciting celebrations planned in each.
On Friday, the caravan traversed the
areas of Homa Bay, Rodi Kopany, Rongo, and Awendo before making its way through
the regions of Rody Kopany, Rongo, and Awendo.
