Safaricom Sambaza Furaha lands in Meru with amazing Christmas giveaways
The Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom tour on Thursday landed in Meru County on its fourth day in the Mt. Kenya region.
The caravan snaked its way around Meru town starting at Makutano Junction and winding up activities in Mikinduri.
Safaricom customers and Royal Media Services fans who turned up in large numbers to join the celebrations marking Safaricom's 24th anniversary were treated to electrifying performances, coupled with amazing giveaways.
They also had a chance to meet their favourite Muuga FM presenters and the heavy rains experienced around the country did not dampen their spirits.
"Leo nimebahatika sana… nimejishindia mbuzi na Safaricom," a winner Samuel Murugi said.
The caravan made a stop in Nchira town to open a Safaricom customer care shop, bringing services closer to the people. As the caravan traversed the vast Meru County, Safaricom staff assured customers of complete product security.
"We take this opportunity to assure our customers of the utmost security of all our products and services. As we approach the festive season, we encourage them to exercise vigilance as well," a Safaricom official Onesmus Mweitha said.
Safaricom's John Mwangi added, "We are happy to go around and meet our customers, and also get the
chance to reward them."
In Baringo County, the telco company held a similar caravan in partnership with Chamgei FM under the Royal Media Services stable, where one lucky customer took home a goat.
The Sambaza Furaha na
Safaricom caravan in the central region will tour Gakoromone, Nkubu, Mitunguu,
Tunai, and Kathwana before wrapping up its fifth day in Chuka Town.
