Safaricom "Sambaza Furaha" caravan kicks off central region tour

The much-anticipated “Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom” caravan, in collaboration with Royal Media, began its Central Region tour on Monday, following a successful run in the Rift Valley.

The caravan was officially flagged off in Kenol, Murang’a County, before proceeding to Maragua, Mukuyu, Murang’a Town, Kangema, and concluding its journey in Kiriani Town.

The Central Region leg of the tour launched with great enthusiasm in Kenol, where Safaricom customers and Royal Media fans were treated to live music, vibrant dance performances, and various exciting giveaways.

The event was a lively celebration, marking the start of the Mt. Kenya Sambaza Furaha na Safaricom tour.

At the first stop in Maragua, the caravan made waves as fans had the chance to meet their favorite Inooro TV presenters. Attendees enjoyed fun interactions, with many winning valuable prizes such as airtime, shopping vouchers, and even mobile phones.

“I’ve won shopping vouchers and an umbrella,” one lucky customer shared, while another proudly showed off their new phone.

Benard from Safaricom's Eastern Region noted, "We are excited to meet our customers as we celebrate 24 years of service. Lucky customers will also win airtime through M-Pesa transactions."

The caravan continued to Mukuyu Market and Murang’a Town, where more surprises awaited loyal Safaricom users. “Look, I’ve won shopping vouchers!” one customer exclaimed, while another added, “I’ve received chicken from Safaricom!”

Kangema was not left out of the festivities. Residents there celebrated early Christmas cheer, with many walking away with various gifts, including T-shirts and airtime, as part of the ongoing celebrations marking Safaricom’s 24 years of service to the people.

The caravan will continue its journey on Tuesday, heading to Nyeri County with planned stops in Othaya, Mukurweini, Karatina, Gatitu, and Giakinja.
