Safaricom fans reap big as Sambaza Furaha caravan tours Kericho

Safaricom's Sambaza Furaha caravan, in partnership with Royal Media which is touring various parts of the country in celebration of 24 years of service, has entered its third day.

The caravan landed in Kericho County on Wednesday to a warm reception before it made its way to Chepseon, Kedowa, and Londiani, with Kenyans winning a variety of prizes as part of the Safaricom Sambaza Furaha Krissy campaign.

Along the way, fans reaped big rewards, including a range of phones.

“I have been a customer of Safaricom from 2002, until today, and I am still a loyal member. I was surprised to know that kumbe, Safaricom inajua customer wake. Wamenikumbuka leo na wamenipea mbuzi; Christmas is now complete," said Londiani Winner Patrick Arap Chepkwony

Kedowa Winner David Sigilei added, “I have won wheat flour and cooking oil and am very happy that Safaricom came to visit Kedowa.”

This tour also serves to inform Kenyans about different services offered by Safaricom, targeting different ages.

“RMS has partnered with Safaricom to ensure that Christmas comes early and celebrations start early. Most of our youth are not aware that Safaricom cares for them; if you are a youth, Safaricom has S-Hook which has a lot of offers," Citizen Radio presenter Willy M Tuva said.

Safaricom continued to educate Kenyans on ways to avoid scams, especially being asked to send money to strangers.

"Most people have lost their money, unapigiwa simu unaambiwa ni Safaricom ati upeane pin. So we want to caution our customers, when you are called, enquire to confirm if it is legit or it's just a con trying to rob you,” an officer from Safaricom Patrick Kinoti explained.

On the fourth day, Thursday, the caravan will tour the areas of Kipsitet, Nandi Hills, Namgoi, Kapsabet, Chepterit, Mosoriot, and Kapsere.
