Real estate company Finsco Africa has handed over 100 title deeds for their massive Thika Grove Chania Phase 1 project, with approximately another 150 titles due for collection this week.

Speaking during the event, Chief Executive Officer John Mwaura commended their loyal customers and thanked the national government for facilitating amenities such as water and electricity, as well as for the initiatives that have improved previously inaccessible tarmac roads.

He also expressed gratitude to the county government of Murang’a, led by Governor Dr. Irungu Kanga’ta, for their support.

“The national government, led by His Excellency Dr. William Ruto, has been at the forefront of championing affordable housing solutions. At Finsco Africa, we align ourselves with this flagship project by helping investors and Kenyans accelerate cheaper and more affordable housing solutions, such as the Thika Grove Chania Project, as we all support the government’s bottom-up economic transformation agenda (BETA),” said Mwaura.

Mwaura noted that heated, negative politicking is scaring away investors. He urged political leaders to tone down their rhetoric and avoid creating unnecessary divisions, allowing the economy time to grow and stabilize, which in turn would foster steady growth in real estate and advance the affordable housing agenda.

“Kenya has experienced heightened political exchanges between leaders in recent times, especially during the impeachment process of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and the introduction of a new Bill seeking to extend the term limits of all elected leaders from five to seven years. It’s time to take a break from politics and provide the necessary political stability for our country’s growth,” he observed.

Project Prices

Thika Grove Chania is a controlled project that allows Kenyans to purchase land at discounted rates: from Ksh.3.8 million for an eighth of an acre and from Ksh.7.3 million for a quarter of an acre.

Many partners on site, including banks and Saccos, indicated that the project encourages Kenyans to participate through their cooperatives, Saccos, and saving groups to purchase land and build houses.

The amenities that enhance the project include water, electricity, a perimeter wall for the residential estates, and security gates.

The expansive Thika Road highway ensures easier connectivity to the city center and other critical towns, further supporting the project.

Experts have long identified projects along Thika Road as having high demand among real estate buyers due to ongoing infrastructural developments enhancing accessibility and investment opportunities.

“It is time for an honest discussion: till when can we rent in the same capacity we could channel toward owning property and assets?” Mwaura posed to those in attendance during the title deed handover and challenged them to take up the Home Direct model of owning their dream house and living at Thika Grove Chania.

Just a 5-minute drive from Blue Post Hotel and off Thika Superhighway, Thika Grove Chania, a project by Finsco Africa, stands in a serene and prime location, which is why many investors and home seekers want a piece of this fantastic region. Its close proximity to Thika town CBD and less than an hour's drive to Nairobi via Thika Superhighway also explains the high demand observed for this great estate.

"This is a perfect opportunity to make your home dream come true. Everything about Thika Grove Chania is simply great. Our rates are highly affordable considering the location," points out Anne Chabs.
