Raila demands IEBC open servers for scrutiny in Busia rally
Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has challenged the IEBC to open the server if they feel the results made public by a whistle-blower are not authentic.
He maintains that William Ruto did not win August 9 2022 presidential election and that Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition does not recognise him as the president of Kenya.
He says they will in the coming days publish the results of the August 9 General Election in accordance with the constitution so that Kenyans can know what exactly happened after they cast their votes.
“The law says results of the election must be published from all the 210 constituencies. This did not happen”, he said.
Speaking in Busia town on Sunday, Mr. Odinga said what was published were results per county which is not stipulated in law.
“There are no County Returning Officers, the law only recognises Constituency Returning Officers and the results we are going to publish will reflect what was received from all the 210 constituencies”, he added.Kwanza Administration.
Raila was accompanied to the Busia rally by among others, his running mate in the last election, Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, Wycliffe Oparanya, George Wajackoyah among others.
Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua also demanded that the electoral body-IEBC opens its server for scrutiny amid reports of a whistle-blower report that tabled different results of the August election.
Karua also took on the Kenya Kwanza administration, claiming that despite collecting nearly 1 trillion in taxes since they came to power, Kenyans were still reeling from hunger and high cost of living.
"Kila mwezi, kwa hiyo karibu miezi tano waliokalia wanakusanya ushuru billioni mia moja, sabini na tatu, hiyo mieze wamekuwa, wameokota Ksh.863 billion .... hiyo pesa yote imeenda wapi kama haijateremsha bei ya unga?''
"wewe unaambiwa ulipe kodi, lakini mabwanyenye wenye kesi za kodi zimeondolewa, wewe ndio utabeba mzigo,"Karua said.
