Prime suspect in murder of Mlolongo salonist Jennifer Mwende pleads not guilty

Nzula, the key suspect in the murder of late Mlolongo salonist Jennifer Mwende
Musila, on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to the offence.
This
comes after she underwent mental check up to ascertain if she was mentally
stable to undergo trial.
The
suspect appeared before Machakos High Court Judge Margaret Muigai who also
ordered that the files of the other two suspects be consolidated into one as they
have all been accused of the same crime.
The
other two suspects; Everlyn Wanza Katumbu and Faith Nthemba, were also to
appear on Tuesday for mention for the case.
Phyllis
was represented by her advocate John Maina while Everlyn and Faith were
represented by advocate Mutava Musyoki.
The
three suspects are presently remanded at Machakos Prisons
