President William Ruto has reaffirmed the government's commitment to completing stalled projects throughout the country.

The President's remarks came as a strong assurance that he would address concerns about delayed infrastructure development, such as roads, dams, and stadiums.

Speaking at the commissioning of the Changachicha water project in Othaya, President Ruto emphasized the importance of infrastructure development in driving economic growth and improving citizens' lives.

He assured the public that the government was fully committed to completing these projects, citing the Changachicha irrigation project as an example of the government's commitment to ensuring food security.

The project is expected to boost agricultural productivity in the Othaya region by ensuring consistent water supply for irrigation.

President Ruto expressed his satisfaction with the project's successful completion and emphasized its potential to transform the local farming community.

President Ruto went on to say that in order to push through the completion of projects that had hit a roadblock, the government would provide the required funding and exert constant effort.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, for his part, reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting coffee and tea farmers by ensuring they are paid fairly for their produce.

The Deputy President's statement comes at a time when  coffee and tea farmers have been dealing with pricing and market access issues.
