Police probe death of GSU officer hurriedly buried in church

The incidental report from Kamagambo police station in Rongo Sub County indicates that the police officers who was in company of his wife died on 27th March 2025 and was buried on 28th March 2025 within the compound of their church in Rongo sub county.

The police report indicates that the wife of the deceased obtained a burial permit from the provincial administration that allowed her to bury his wife as per the doctrine of the church.

The incidental report revealed that the deceased was receiving radicalized teaching from the same church and that the police had previously visited the church after the diseased father reported the matter to the police.

Rongo sub county deputy county commissioner Mr.George Matundura said she is aware of the incident and they are currently doing investigation .Matundura said they are soon going to take necessary legal action.

The incident has elicited mixed reactions from the members of the public who want the church investigated by the government.

They suspect that the church is promoting teachings that radicalize the people who believe in its doctrine.
