Police probe brutal murder of 40-year-old man in Homa Bay

According to Assistant Chief Denish Abong’o, unknown assailants raided the victim's home at midnight, stabbing him multiple times before slashing his stomach with a machete.

The attackers then hid his body under the bed before fleeing the scene.

The horrific crime was discovered by the victim’s daughter, who awoke to a commotion in their house.

Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the killing, but investigations are underway to apprehend the suspects.

The body of the deceased has been moved to Bethlehem Mortuary as police intensify their search for those responsible.
