Police launch probe as woman stabbed to death in Siaya

The victim, identified as Linnet Adhiambo, reportedly succumbed to stab wounds after being attacked by unknown assailants.

Ugunja Sub-county Police Commander Benjolive Munuve stated that authorities received information about the incident around 1:00 a.m. and rushed to the scene, where they found the woman already deceased.

Officers later moved the body to Ambira Sub-county Hospital mortuary for preservation, pending a postmortem examination.

Mr. Munuve confirmed that two suspects have been arrested and are currently assisting police with investigations.

He urged the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement to enhance security in the region.
