Pastor Ezekiel Odero donates Ksh10M food items in Tana River flood victims

With the help of the county government of Tana River and Governor Dhadho Godhana, the controversial preacher said the donation was from his church as part of the promise he made to the people of Tana River.
"When I heard about this (floods) I looked for the governor and he made sure that we have arrived here safely and everything goes to place as planned," Odero said.
Hinting at encountering stumbling blocks on his mission to help those affected, Odero said the Tana River leadership accepted the helping hand and the people benefitted from the donations.
The preacher also defended both the county and national governments against blame, saying when they planned their budgets there was no forecast for the El Nino rains.
"Truth be told, sometimes we blame the county and national governments for the floods but they had already done their budgets before the floods came," Odero added.
He said the two governments have tried to do their best for the victims of the floods and should be lauded for that.
