Over 60 students from Eregi girls' school hospitalised over unknown illness
30 students were admitted to the Kakamega Level Five Hospital, 20 to Shibwe Hospital and 10 to Iguhu Hospital.
The students have shown similar symptoms, where they are having trouble walking.
Reports indicate that more students are being rushed to various health facilities in the county.
Sources indicated that initial laboratory tests had revealed that the students had elevated electrolytes, an indication that their bodies had lost fluids.
Medical personnel from KEMRI are expected to visit the School on Tuesday to assess the situation.
