Defence Forces (KDF) and the National Police Service (NPS) to tame banditry in
the North Rift region successful.
Speaking in Chemolingot in Tiaty, Baringo County on Saturday when he visited the Operation Maliza Uhalifu command centre, the CS noted that the multi-agency security team leading the operation has been able to liberate key foxholes used by bandits.
"The Government commends security officers in the frontline for their dedication, diligence, and commitment," said the CS.
He also announced plans by the government to upscale development projects in the region in a bid to augment key economic enablers such as agriculture, tourism and foreign investments.
