One killed, several injured in Nakuru road accident

One person died on Saturday while several others sustained various injuries following a road accident at Mustard area on the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

Three Isuzu vehicles and a Mercedez Benz trailer were involved in the accident which occurred at around 5 am.

Police say that survivors of the grisly accident are receiving treatment at a hospital in Nakuru.

“Those injured are currently receiving treatment at PGH Nakuru, as Kaptembwa Police Station commences investigation into the cause of the accident,” the National Police Service (NPS) said in a statement on X.

Additionally, the law enforcement agency urged Kenyans to exercise extra caution on roads to prevent similar incidents.
